- For the personality development of the students and to induce the sense of social responsibility college provide a forum to the students through N.S.S. and Youth Red Cross.
- Joining in the NSS (National Service Scheme) is voluntary there are three units for the Boys and one for girls.
- The Units have their respective adopted villages, to conduct prescribed programmes through normal and special camps on being funded by the University.
- Creating social awareness, mobility empowerment of women, sanitation, right to education, right to information, rights for 100 days of employment, fight against HIV/AIDS, Infant mortality, Plantation Drives, etc. are some areas of creating awareness and participation. Cleaning the Environment are the thrust areas of activity.
- Other activities will be as notified by the respective Programme Officers before each camp.
